Thank you for your great support for Teddy's Wedding Workshop.
What's coming up is the Studio workshop this Friday. Venue is unconfirmed at 5pm. It will run till about 6 or 7pm. We are arranging for models to come and hope that that would be possible =)
Also would like to bring your attention to our Annual General Meeting(Caulfield club) on 21 September 5.30 pm venue TBA
What happens is there will be a President's Report, Secretary's Report and also Treasurer's Report for the club
And the highlight is the election of the new committee, any member can be nominated to be in the new committee. Positions up for grabs are as follows:
President:
to oversee the team
Vice President:
to assist the president
Secretary:
Take minutes of meeting, responsible for membership register, admin officer of the club
Treasurer:
Account for cash flow of the club and assist in reimbursements
Activities Manager:
plan club outings and events/trips
Event Photography Manager:
Plan and coordinate photography services provided like studio/roaming photographers for balls and other events
IT/Graphics designer:
responsible for website/forum and design of posters for activities
Sponsorship officer:
responsible for getting sponsors for marketing of club and also prizes for competitions
Workshops Officer:
to coordinate club workshop venues, instructors
3x General Committee:
assist in the committee with whatever deems fit by the team.
If there are more than 1 person running for the position, there will be an election.
Do come for the free food and drinks, and come to have a say towards who will be leading the club next year =)

MPC Wedding Photography Workshop

Dear all,
The MPC is excited to announce that we are holding a Wedding Photography Workshop this Friday (3rd September), with aprofessional wedding photographer Teddy!
It will be at Caufield,Building H Room H220, starting from5:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m..
And for those who want to join the MPC, this Friday would be a great opportunity to meet our members and join the membership =)
Thank you for your enthusiastic response to our Puffing Billy Trip next Saturday!
The trip costs $40 (member)/ $45 (non-member) and includes 2-way transport between Monash University and Belgrave station. There are two ways to make payment for the trip, either through an interbank transfer or by paying cash:
(1) Interbank Transfer
Make an electronic transfer to our bank account by WED 25th Aug. Remember to include your NAME in your transaction. Upon receipt of payment, we will send you a confirmatory email (ie: your ticket for the Puffing Billy Trip), which you need to bring with you on saturday, as proof of payment.

In case you are not able to do an electronic transfer, we will be setting up a booth in Caulfield Campus on the following days for you to make a cash payment.
It’s the end of week 5 and assignment deadlines are really starting to build up the pressure yea? How about having one morerelaxing Saturday with Monash Photography Club as we enjoy a scenic ride on board Puffing Billy, have a sumptuous BBQ lunch and end off the exciting day with a Model Photo Shoot Session!
Puffing Billy is a century-old steam train which is still running on its original mountain track from Belgrave to Gembrook in the scenic Dandenong Ranges. The Railway is the major survivor of four experimental lines used to develop rural areas in the early 1900s.
Puffing Billy is now a major tourist attraction, its operation depending on hundreds of dedicated volunteers!
