Our next event will be held at the Melbourne Zoo with attractive prizes to be won!

Price: $18. First 20 members only pay $16! So come down early! If you’re not a member yet, sign up at an event special rate of $7 on top of the zoo trip ticket!

MPC Forum and Photography Competition

Hi Everyone,
We’re extremely excited to announce that our MPC Forum has finally launched! And we’re inviting every single one of you to join the fun!
Also, our first competition is finally here. The theme would be: Landscape or Cityscape.
Each person can submit a max of 1 photo per competition. Photos HAVE to be submitted to the forum, preferably using the imageshack hosting when you post a reply:
Select your file (not more than 5mb) and you can upload to imageshack.
When the upload finishes, copy and paste the "Forum code" into your message.
Click "Preview post" to check that it works =)
Tell us which category you are in,dSLRorpoint and shoot
You can also upload to your favourite photo site like flickr or smugmug and post the thumbnail with link to a high resolution photo here. This is to facilitate us printing at higher resolution.
A poll would be setup after for voting of the photos. Photos will also be printed and hung at La Porchettaand Gloria Jeans where you can also vote.
The competition will start at 1 May and submissions will close by15 May 2359hrs. PRIZES include vouchers from La Porchettaand Kingston memory cards. There will be prizes for the top 3 winners of 2 categories: dSLR and point and shoot. The winners will also get free prints of their winning picture.
Eight weeks into sem 1, hope everyone is coping well with all their tests and assignments…
The club will be planning a small photo outing in Melbourne CBD to shoot the Melbourne Zombie Shuffle. For more information about the event pls check out the url at the bottom of the email.
