Upcoming workshops

We have 2 workshops coming up. the basic workshop will be done by Victor. It is a event organised by Campus Connect and we are helping out. But for those who haven't been to the first workshop we had, you can drop by too, but spaces are limited. the room can hold only about 26 people, but feel free to drop by too. What: Basic Photography workshop Date: 14 April, Wednesday Time: 5pm to about 6.30pm Venue: A1.34 Clayfield Room (26 people capacity) Also we got our Photoediting workshop coming up. We are still finding a suitable computer lab or 2 to hold more people (If any of you have the connections to arrange this for us please tell us). Teaching will cover at least Adobe Lightroom. Yarra Valley Winery Trip was Great

Ah, the trip was amazing =) good food, good company. Thanks everyone for the support and apologies that there were only 57 places and that we were limited by the winery's capability to support us. here's the group shot =) a pity there was smoke from burning. go to the forum for more pictures =)

Yarra Valley Winery Trip UPDATE!

Picnic lunch and some juices will be provided. you can bring extra food if you want to =) Bring your CAMERAS Please be punctual/early for the bus pickup timings as the start of the itinery is a bit packed. Pickup timings and locations: Caulfield: Outside Building A where the shuttle bus picks people 9 AM Clayton: Outside Robert Blackwood hall 9.30 AM we will be visiting 3 wineries: 11am Seville Estate: we have an educational tasting there 11.30 and we will be having a FREE PICNIC LUNCH there 12.30pm Yerring station: We have another tasting booked there and there will be lots of time here to shoot this beautiful winery 2.30 pm Domaine Chandon. There is a free tour of the winery for the public here at 3pm hope we can squeeze in. Then we head home =) reach about 5ish. Please inform your friends/wives/husbands/kids/cameras about this information if you bought the tickets for them =)

The Basic photography workshop and welcome party had about 70 people showing up which is a great number! The upcoming proposed events will be updated soon. What we are looking forward to next is the Yarra Valley Winery trip coming Saturday! An email will be sent to people who have registered soon. This is the link to the presentation for the Basic photography workshop i gave for those who want to have a look at it. UPDATE!: make sure you bring your camera with you to the event, we will have a mini shoot and critique session. Also tickets for Winery trip are sold out =( This friday, the Basic Photography workshop is confirmed at Building H, level 2, room 35. H2.35 in Caulfield campus (map) at 5.30 pm sharp. non-members can sign up on the spot and join us at $10. After the Basic Photography workshop, the Welcome party is at 7.30 pm at Gryph inn. That's at the ground level of Building K, below the walkway. Hope to see everyone there!
